Our co-curricular highlights
Public speaking
We prepare our students for their futures by offering public speaking to all students from kindergarten onwards. Through public speaking, students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills. We support and challenge our students to build confidence in public speaking at school, interschool and state level.
Creative and performing arts
Our creative arts programs help build students' confidence and express themselves. They can join choir and dance programs, and take part in performances at school and in the wider community.
Camps and excursions
Our students have the opportunity to explore new places, discover different cultures, and enjoy hands-on experiences that bring their lessons to life. These adventures help students grow, learn teamwork, and create lasting memories beyond the classroom.
Student voice and leadership
We know every student’s voice matters. We encourage our students to share their ideas, take on leadership roles, and make a positive difference in our school and community. Through student voice and leadership opportunities, students build confidence, teamwork skills, and become active leaders of today and tomorrow.
Special interest groups
We offer a variety of special interest groups to inspire and engage our students. From exciting STEM activities to environmental education, our programs provide hands-on learning opportunities that spark curiosity and creativity. These groups help students explore their passions, develop new skills, and make a positive impact on their world.
Cultural Connections
We celebrate and respect Aboriginal culture, and strive for strong partnerships with our local Aboriginal community, and Kamay Botany Bay National Park. Our students participate in the First Nations Student Council and enjoy meaningful On Country experiences that connect them to the rich history and traditions of the First Nations people. These cultural opportunities help deepen understanding, respect, and pride in our local heritage.
Sutherland Shire Schools Music Festival
Our school is proud to be part of the Sutherland Shire Schools Music Festival, celebrating music, creativity and connection across the Sutherland Shire.
